You have a variety of choices from Tutorials that guide you with your ongoing – or new – projects to Step by Step Workshops of landscapes, still life and a world of animals. These workshops also allow you to try a different medium from what you are used to. They will vary from oil, to acrylics, watercolour and graphite. And maye even a little pastel.

TUTORIALS
FOR ALL LEVELS
THE PURPOSE OF THE TUTORIALS is to provide an objective view and professional advice on how to begin or continue any artwork with which you need guidance and some encouragement to succeed in your final objective. Sometimes “artistic block” just needs a little push out of the box for it to become exactly what you wish it to be. At the same time short lectures on art practices, the use of colour, expression, perspective, subject matter can provide a background of information that is the basis of your art process. It is like the ingredients in a cake mix, once you have the right measurements it all works out perfect.

WORKSHOPS
FOR ALL LEVELS unless otherwise specified
THE PURPOSE OF THE WORKHOPS is to provide instruction and demonstration in a step by step process so that everyone can follow and complete a work of fine art. Different themes and applications are used so that it can be an adventure into something new and different. Some examples are using graphite or charcoal on canvas, watercolour and ink, oil and acrylic. Always a choice and a chance to try something you would not have otherwise.
- Upon registration a material list will be provided as well as preparation directions to be completed before class.
- If required a line drawing will be provided that you can trace or transfer to your surface.
- Notes are provided in class describing each step by step to be taken however it is good practice to bring pencil and paper to add your specific notes to the process for you to refer to when not in classs.à
