STEP ONE – The Snow

Using transparent white over the dark blue background to shape the snow in three dimensional form

STEP TWO – The Sky

Building on the dark blue background layer lighter and lighter blue with white

STEP THREE – The River

Using the dark blue background as the medium colour , darken in shadows and lighten whre reflections occur
